he boys lacrosse team at Governor's Academy has something
to prove this spring.
With a new head coach and
an almost entirely intact returning squad, expectations for
Gov's are sky high. In their favor is what many
consider to be the best attack tandem in the
state: junior Zach Ludd and senior Griffin Harris.
At the end of 2016, following a 21-year tenure
during which his program won eight Independent School League championships and 250 of
325 games, legendary coach Peter Bidstrup retired and handed the reins to his assistant coach
and former player Tim Winslow.
